New Machinery takes pride at the front of the fleet
With an ever increasing workload and larger diameter work being requested Central Piling have taken the decision to purchase 2 brand new rigs from Soilmec. The first of the two machines is the SF65.
Its only the second one in the country to find its way from Soilmec’s factory. With a maximum drilling depth of 30 meters it stretches itself further than any of the other machines we currently have and will drill upto 1000mm diameter. The second is an SF50. We are already running one of these in our fleet and with proven reliability and production rate we have decided to replace one of the older CM50s with this newer model. Both rigs have come with a new DMS system fitted. This is a measuring and diagnostic system which streams info back to ourselves and Soilmec to keep the machines running more efficiently.
