New Head Office

Central Piling are pleased to announce the opening of their new office and yard facility at Halstead in Essex. The £2.2M scheme on a two-acre plot provides the company with improved maintenance and logistics capabilities. In addition to this the office space offers an excellent training and working environment.

Managing Director, Steve Hadley commented:

“In some ways it was hard to leave Central Park which had been our home for so many years but we wanted to create a working space that was as professional as our team. We are delighted with the result, it has inspired our Engineers and Managers to push on with the expansion of the business. We also anticipate that it will help us recruit and retain the best in the industry.”

New Office Ahead

We’re progressing well with our new office and yard in Halstead. The piles are now installed and the ground beams are ready to be poured. We expect the steel frame to be up in the next few weeks. Once that is in place the programme should really accelerate and the site should be ready for us by the middle of March 2016.

The new site will provide larger and improved working conditions for our team and a welcoming environment for other stakeholders.

Moving Further Afield

Central Piling is spreading its workload further around the country. We have picked a job up in Carrington for Spiecapag installing piles for a gas pipeline project. With us taking new machinery and growing as a company its enabling us to spread further around the country and start to build new relationships with companies based further away from us.

Central Piling are celebrating!

June last year saw the five year anniversary since the business was purchased from its founders Lin and Roy Rawden. There has now been a complete overhaul of the larger rigs and an expansion of the fleet capacity this year through the purchase of a second Hutte 203, a fifth Soilmec CM50 and a Soilmec R312. The R312 offers us another medium sized CFA option and conversion when required to enable rotary cased pile installation.

Federation of Piling Specialists

Other notable successes for 2012 include our successful registration with the Federation of Piling Specialists, passing of ISO audits for safety, environmental and quality management, and a reduction in our accident frequency rate.
